Design & shape your custom variable-rocker soft surfboard from a Moda Core blank. It's easy and fun!

Price includes: 1 Moda Core (60”L x 24”W x 2”H, finished board length 4’10”), thermal lamination by Custom X in Oceanside*, 2 FCS fin boxes (fins not included), 1 leash plug, 1 MakerPlace day-pass (for non-members).

Manual shaping tools including a stock outline template, surform blades, saws, and dry wall screens will be available. Attendees may bring and use their own templates and tools (manual and power). In addition to provided tools, MakerPlace members have access to all in-house tools.

*We will shuttle shaped Moda Cores to Custom X and bring the finished boards back to MakerPlace for pickup. Thermal lamination may take up to 2 weeks to complete. Deck color options are: red, yellow, blue, black, or white. FCS soft board fin boxes will be installed in twin fin configuration (fins not included). Quad configuration +$15.
