2017: Bigger boards, new designs, new shaper
Happy 2017! Moda has been reaching milestones, despite the last months of crazy weather here in San Diego.
We've successfully built and tested boards that flex properly for 200 pound surfers. This means variable rocker will be available to more people for sure!
We've tested shapes that add slightly more conventional design aspects to Moda's current templates. The result is that they surf much better with faster, more responsive turning without sacrificing easy speed.
And, our latest prototype is shaped by a fantastic SoCal surfboard shaper. It's exciting that flex for variable rocker has caught the imagination of such an experienced shaper, and his involvement will better help us explore flex.
